The Director of Business Development is responsible for achieving revenue and margin targets for the internet channel, building strategic partnerships and creating innovative strategies that advance company growth. This Director will gain a deep understanding of the company's operating principles, core competencies, and competitive advantage through hands-on work and direct collaboration with operational leaders.
1. Takes a lead role in developing and implementing both internal and external strategic initiatives designed to increase company revenues
2. Responsible for the attaining annual sales and margin objectives for the eBusiness unit by developing and executing operational plans through the team of account managers.
3. Partners with marketing to develop and execute proactive marketing programs that increase share of business within current customer base.
4. Expert understanding of key account management, strategic partnerships, identifying opportunities for growth, combined with the skills to move the organization from strategy through implementation.
5. Ability to identify, evaluate and quantify opportunities for revenue and margin growth through existing channels or new channels of business.
6. Works closely with executive leaders across the business to drive efficiencies through process implementation and management.
7. Ensures commitment to high performance levels through continuous employee development, goal setting, and performance management.
8. Be a driving force in the development of the work ethic, culture and values for the eBusiness unit. Through personal example, establish the style and approach that aligns with Tucker Rocky / Biker’s Choice leadership values.

Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of sales experience with a demonstrated record of success
  • Previously supervised or managed teams of employees
  • Works in an office environment
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Reports to Vice President of Sales and Marketing
